Inflatable Low Pressure Packers by Solinst

The Model 800 Well Packer line is inexpensive and easy to use. With an option to inflate with a hand pump or mechanical pumps and diameter range of 1.8" and 3.7". Designed for 2" and 4" monitoring wells, though capable of use with smooth boreholes and odd sized wells between 1.9 - 5" inside diameters.

To achieve the range and durability required for expansion in wells an envelope of black carbon reinforced rubber is used. For support and lowering use either polyethylene tubing and safety line or rigid pvc pipe. Eye bolts are conveniently placed on the top and bottom of each packer for safety line and suspension of measuring or sampling devices below the packers. A 1/8" compression fitting for inflation tubing makes instalation a snap using 0.125" OD LDPE.

Adding to the versatility is the option of single or straddle (stacked) versions. This allows for descrete zone water sampling between two pressure packers using a bladder pump od footvalve pump. Leveloggers can also be suspended, either below or between each level.
