The RKI Eagle is an excellent instrument to use for Landfill gas monitoring applications. The following EAGLE versions have been developed for Landfill use. These versions include an IR sensor for measuring methane levels from 0-100% LEL and 0-100% volume (auto ranging). Some models also include an IR sensor for CO2 detection. Please note that a CO2 range of 0-50% volume is standard, and 0-20% is available upon request. Rent or buy one for monitoring toxic gases at Landfill, tank entry, open pit, excavation or environmental screening jobs. The competitors instrument adds temp and differential pressure and charges three times as much. At about $3000 it is a gem of a good deal for this rock solid instrument. |
