We offer the following turbidity meters for sale: New EPA technology-based effluent limitations guidelines (40 CRF 450) require all construction projects that disturb over 20 acres of land to monitor and limit their effluent stormwater turbidity levels. The new standard, effective February 1, 2010, set turbidity levels to 280 NTUs. A minimum of three daily samples for turbidity measurements is required. In 2014, the regulation will apply to sites that disturb over 10 acres of land. EPA Standard 180.1-compliant turbidity meters are essential to all construction projects that disturb over 20 acres of land to meet 40 CRF 450 requirements.
