Environmental Sampling Tubing and Hose
Disposable/Re useable Pump Tubing
Water sampling, low flow sampling, Grundfos pumps, bladder pumps, 12 volt pumps, but no one mentions the yeoman of the environmental sampling world. TUBING is the unnamed holy spirit of the sampling universe. TUBING connects the sampling pump to the sample jar of the test equipment or laboratory.
Geotechnical Services, Inc. most used tubing is Vinyl. That clear flexible poly vinyl carbonate or simply PVC. From time immemorial and the discovery of petroleum, it has connected pumps with clear flexible tubing or solid white pvc schedule 40 pipe to the surface world.
Next, most sold is Polyethylene (Poly) a translucent cloudy white somewhat stiff tubing. Polyethylene further divides in to Low Density (LDPE) and High Density (HDPE). After these two common tubings, come medical grade Silicone Tubing and PTFE (Teflon) Tubings for the environmental market.
Reinforced PVC (vinyl) tubing has strands of nylon imbedded in the tubing thickness. A tubing used for high pressure and deep sampling situations.
Most tubing is also defined by it's dimensions of OD (outside diameter) and ID (inside diameter).
If you need tubing for groundwater or soil vapor sampling, chances are we have it. Give us a call (800)524-9111.
